Matchmaking, Anti-Cheat & Bug Fixes

September 1, 2026

Hey everyone, Guigz here. Patch 1.17 is one we’ve been working on for a while, and it goes deeper than what’s visible on the surface.

We’ve been heads down on three things you’ve been asking about for a while: matchmaking, cheaters, and bugs. Bug fixing stays our top priority and we’re working through the list as fast as we can. Keep sharing bugs with us through the new in-game support or through the channels you already use, socials, Discord, wherever you are. We especially encourage you to try the new in-game support, it’s the fastest way to reach us directly.

Here’s what changed and why.

Matchmaking

We’re constantly working on matchmaking and nothing is set in stone. With 1.17, we’re testing a new approach focused on making matches feel fairer. The goal is to better reflect where each player actually stands, so that fights feel more balanced and competitive on both sides. We’re watching the data closely and your feedback is a big part of how we’ll keep adjusting this.

Anti-Cheat

We’ve done a significant overhaul of our anti-cheat systems. Our new automated detection has already resulted in bans across tens of thousands of accounts. Those suspiciously overpowered opponents you may have run into before, that’s exactly what this targets. Cheaters won’t disappear overnight, but our detection is now far more robust and we’ll keep improving it.
